To Be

Professional Farmers

we are dedicated to empowering our farmers to become professionals in the coffee industry.

At Kirurumwe Farmers' Cooperative Society, we are dedicated to empowering our farmers to become professionals in the coffee industry. Through strategic partnerships with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) Good Neighbors and KOICA, as well as comprehensive training programs, we provide our members with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in coffee farming and related fields.

Empowering Farmers through Comprehensive Training

We collaborate with Good Neighbors to offer a wide range of training programs designed to enhance the capabilities of our farmers. These trainings cover various aspects of coffee farming and business management, including:

Coffee Farming Training:

Farmers receive in-depth training on best practices for cultivating high-quality coffee. This includes techniques for planting, nurturing, and harvesting coffee plants to maximize yield and quality.

Accounting Training:

Understanding financial management is crucial for any successful farming operation. Our accounting training helps farmers keep accurate financial records, manage budgets, and make informed financial decisions.

Quality control is a key aspect of coffee production. Through cupping training, farmers learn how to taste and evaluate coffee, ensuring that only the best coffee makes it to market. This training helps farmers understand the nuances of coffee flavors and quality standards.

Cupping Training:

By participating in these training programs, our farmers are better equipped to manage their farms professionally, improve their coffee quality, and increase their income. Our goal is to transform our members into skilled, knowledgeable, and successful coffee farmers who can thrive in the competitive global coffee market.
